Description
This is an online course is an excellent foundation for anyone interested in becoming a Firefighter or Paramedic. The program is patient-assessment based and emphasizes the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Emergency Medical Technician. By the end of the program students will be proficient in patient care of the sick and injured. This course requires student complete 36 hours of clinical and field internship as well as four to five in-person skill sessions. This course is NOT self-paced. Students must have access to high-speed internet and basic computer skills. Students should also be highly motivated with good time management. Successful course completion allows students to test for certification as an EMT provider.

Description
The Iowa EMS Training Program Association will be hosting our annual EMS Instructor Development Conference on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. This conference brings primarily EMS educators as well as other allied health educators together to take part in instructor development, networking, and professional growth opportunities.

The 2019 conference will feature Dan Batsie as our keynote speaker as well as other quality presenters. We anticipate approximately 100 attendees including the program managers from each of the EMS Training Programs. During the all-day conference there will be several opportunities for attendees to meet with your company, review your products, and allow for you to interact with potential customers.

In order to put this conference on we rely on the support from vendors. We are asking for your support and hoping you take advantage of the opportunity to showcase your products and meet your customers. The vendor registration fee for the 2019 conference is $200 which will provide you with up to 2 tables, floor space, and access to both electricity and WiFi.
