As an affiliate member you will partner with IEMSA to facilitate change by retaining a lobbyist to be your voice in the Iowa legislature, as we advocate for EMS providers of all types and levels across Iowa, as well as opening funding for EMS providers like the federal funded GEMT program, working regularly to increase the Medicare reimbursement rate, monitor and weigh-in on other important essential issues facing Iowa EMS. Retired IEMSA Members Must be: A resident of the State of Iowa and/or an individual who is no longer actively providing emergency medical care within the State of Iowa and is a dues-paying member, shall become a “Active-Retired” Member of the Association. Training Center Memberships enjoy many benefits including – your students are eligible to apply for our annual scholarships, you are eligible to compete for a $500 scholarship to be awarded by you—given to the Training Center with the most students joining IEMSA from June 2-June1 each year, along with a free individual membership that has some nice benefits of it's own, and much more.
